He has added editorial work and fashion shows to his creative credits. Never one to sit back, he progresses with ongoing education. He believes an artist needs to continually grow. A perfectionist by nature, all his clientele leave Hair Junkie feeling beautiful, pampered and listened to.
ANNIE DEPIPPO
Annie is a master colorist and is a certified Goldwell Color Specialist. With over 30 years behind the chair if you can dream it, she can achieve it. She always remains “in the know” about current color trends and techniques. Annie has traveled worldwide to gather her extensive knowledge and takes great joy in providing her clientele with the ultimate experience. One of the friendliest, most creative people you’ll ever meet. Once you get in her chair you’ll never want to leave.
KAREN CUNNINGHAM
A proud owner of Hair Junkie Salon. As a 30-year veteran in the industry, Karen’s mantra has always been “Education is your key to artistic freedom”. So it was only natural for her to become an educator in the profession she’s so passionate about. “Working as a national artist for EVO Hair is a dream realized for me” Her skill set includes customized haircutting, styling, up styling, and hair coloring, Dedication, determination, and passion are paramount in making her career what it is today. Always looking to expand her horizons, Karen has won a number of industry accolades, working as a NY Fashion week stylist, and creative director and lead stylist of many productions and photo shoots. Along with an incredible journey of working behind the chair, Karen constantly aims to perfect her craft acquiring diverse experience within and outside the industry.
Megan Wrigley
Megan first realized her love for makeup as a toddler sneaking into her moms glamourous makeup collection. At 19 she attended Makeup Designory and Christine Valmy in NYC to study beauty makeup, special effects, and esthetics. She then went on to work with a top makeup brand as an artist and moved her way up the corporate ladder. Megan joined Hair Junkie in 2014 and uses both her skills in management and makeup to run the salon smoothly.
Christine Otto “Otto”
Otto is a Goldwell Color Specialist and Master Colorist who has spent over 14 years honing her craft. Her skill set includes balayage, fashion shades, color correction and customized coloring. Otto believes that education is key, always furthering her knowledge by taking advantage of advanced education. As an In-demand and well respected north shore colorist Otto takes pride in her work, making sure each guest in her chair gets her complete undivided attention.
Sueann Giurlanda
Sueann has been working in the hair industry for the last twenty years. She first started her hair journey during high school where she took a cosmetology course and graduated in 2002. She specializes in women’s haircuts, perms, tape-in hair extensions, balayage, highlights and men’s scissor cuts. Her love for hair has only grown as she continues her journey and strives to make each and every client feel beautiful. She’s proud to be a part of the Hair Junkie team and welcomes you to her chair.
Olivia “Liv” Fetzer
For the past 11 years Olivia has been a desirable hairstylist working to serve her clients all over the North Shore. She first found her love for the hair industry while skipping school to fold towels at her older sisters salon. She quickly realized the salon was where she was meant to be. After attending the cosmetology program at BOCES, she worked her way up the ranks to become a master stylist. She doesn’t ONLY specialize in haircuts, highlights and straightening treatments, she also makes a great sourdough loaf and is an expert in all things reality TV.
NICK LABUSH
Growing up in a family full of women Nick learned, from a young age, the importance of looking and feeling your best. Nick graduated from cosmetology school in 2014 with the determination to make all his guests feel their most beautiful inside and out. Nick quickly amassed a large skill set that includes celebrity styling, beautiful hand-painted balayage color, and effortless haircutting techniques. One of the most personable people you will meet, he believes each guest in his chair should feel like a member of his own family.
Nicole Diaz
Nicole’s passion lies in Makeup Artistry. She has been enthusiastically honing her skill since a very young age. Her expertise has brought her from representing ELF Cosmetics all the way to New York Fashion Week. A recent graduate of Long Island Beauty School, Nicole was thrilled to join the Hair Junkie team. She is looking towards an amazingly diverse career as a stylist as well as a Makeup Artist.
Danielle Doshna
Danielle is a seasoned hairstylist with 10 years of experience, specializing in blowouts, haircuts, extensions and updos. After attending the BOCES program in high school, Danielle quickly moved up the ranks, refining her skills and perfecting her craft.
Jasmine Martinez
Inspired by art, music, and self-expression from a young age, Jasmine began experimenting with hairstyling at just 10 years old. After high school, she attended beauty school while studying photography, developing a strong eye for detail, color, and overall aesthetics. Today, she combines her artistic vision with modern techniques to create personalized cuts, extensions, and styles that leave every client feeling confident and radiant. She is a certified Extension Master.
Frankie DeRiso
Frankie’s love for the hair industry started back in college while styling his roommates’ hair in his dorm room. He has been passionate about making people feel beautiful ever since. For the past five years Frankie honed his craft working on haircuts, blowouts and special occasion styling. Frankie is also certified in multiple extension methods. Known for creating beautiful hair, and an even better experience, Frankie brings fun, creativity and lots of laughs to every appointment.
Zareen Goolcharran
From an early age, Zareen was immersed in the world of hair, growing up in her father’s salon where creativity and connection were part of everyday life. She began working in salons at just 15 years old, while still in high school and enrolled in cosmetology school.
Although she went on to attend college with plans of becoming a teacher, the pull of the beauty industry never faded. After continuing to work in salons throughout her college years, she ultimately followed her passion back to where it all began. Now more than a decade later, fully dedicated back to the industry, she has embraced her calling wholeheartedly.
As a third-generation hairdresser, Zareen carries on a legacy of talent, dedication, and love for the art of hair. She is committed to creating personalized, confidence-boosting experiences for every client who sits in her chair.
